How to Hard Reset Samsung Tablet

A hard reset will erase all settings, data, and content from your tablet. This is helpful if you notice an issue with your tablet that can’t be resolved by troubleshooting.
- Before resetting your tablet, turn it off and then on again. This may fix some issues. If your tablet wonʼt turn off, follow the steps below.
- Press and hold the Volume up, Home, and Power buttons until the Samsung logo appears on the screen.
- Scroll to wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume down button.
- Press the Power button.
- Scroll to Yes by pressing the Volume down button
- Press the Power button.
- The tablet will now wipe all contents.
- Press the Power button.
- The tablet will now reboot to the initial setup screen.
